Plants and Flowers at Disneyland

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Anaheim, California to attend the American Institute of Floral Designers Annual Symposium. Designers from all over the United States and the world gather together to showcase world class floral creations and learn about hot new trends. More about that later. Today it's Disneyland!

I love the Disney parks. Besides being super fun, the Disney parks represent the collaboration of thousands of creative people from every discipline imaginable. Artists, performers, and of course landscapers and florists!

Every square inch of Disneyland is meticulously landscaped. A lot of the hard work is lost on most guests, but I made sure to take plenty of photos to share with you today. You don't need a Fastpass, we're going to the front of the line!

4th of July flowers? You better believe it! Take your Independence Day party to the next level with fresh flowers this year. Your guests will ooh and ah over the arrangements I'm showing you today.

Fireworks is my flagship design for this holiday. The name says it all. Birds of Paradise and Pin Cushion Protea, accented with Hypericum berries and Bear Grass arranged in a large globe vase. This would make a perfect finishing touch for your picnic and buffet tables.

Beat the Heat in Springfield Ohio

While you're at it, scatter a few of these firecrackers around for an extra pop. Beat the Heat is a nice size to go on your home bar or in your powder room.

Pop Up Wedding? We Can Do That! Wedding Flowers On the Fly from Schneider's Florist

Wedding traditions in the United States are changing. While large, elaborate ceremonies and receptions are still very popular, small, improvised, pop up weddings can be equally special and memorable. My readers already know our consultants can help you plan your wedding and we have fabulous wedding packages for people who want to simplify the ordering process, but what about a pop up wedding?

We can do that! We have created bridal bouquets on the fly for same day wedding ceremonies with very short notice. 

Need a location? Talk to us! You can get married right here. We're in the process of restoring a room on the second floor with twenty foot ceilings, a giant fireplace, and beautiful north light from towering stained glass windows. This room could easily accommodate an improvised ceremony and a handful of guests. 

We can announce your wedding on our gigantic marquee sign out front. Parking and a restroom are available. We can even chill your champagne in our cooler! All of this and more can be accomplished with very short notice for a very reasonable price.
